Members of the Kimura-Hara group as well as graduate students who are enrolled in Dr. Kimura-Hara's water chemistry course this semester were lucky enough to take a tour of the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant and Analytical Lab! By all accounts it was a great experience, and also a valuable way to see the real-life implications of our research projects. Huge thank you to the people at the City of Calgary who made it happen: Seaneen for organizing our visit, Patrick for the tour of the water treatment plant, David for the tour of the lab, and Rachid for showing us all of the awesome analytical instrumentation.
